Born in 1964 in Basel. He studied in Basel and Lausanne and graduated in 1988. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Basel in 1989, became a Swiss Supreme Court clerk the same year and completed his training as attorney in 1993 in Basel.

Between 1994 and 1999, he was a scientific collaborator at the Swiss Supreme Court where his activity was focused on Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Law, Contract Law and Civil Liability Law.

Peter Münch is a professor at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences where he has been teaching law, particularly Commercial Law, since 1999.

He is co-founder and co-editor of the series “Handbücher für die Anwaltspraxis” and the author of numerous scien­tific publications on issues including Litigation, Labour Law, Construction Law, Civil Liability, Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law.
Peter Münch joined the firm in 2000 as counsel.
